1. First, turn off the water from your home.

2. Remove the pop-up stopper which should be underneath a little metal or plastic cap on a threaded rod or screw mechanism at the back of the sink basin to prevent spillage after loading and unloading clothes. Then, unscrew the wire braided hose from underneath the faucet. Also, turn off the hot and cold water valves under your home sink to completely stop both types of water flow.

3. Take your bucket or container with you under the house basin to collect all leftover residue inside of said lines after they are fully released.

4. Now, the fun part! You are going to have to crawl under your house. You must remove the faucet by re-aligning it with its respective holes in the sink. First use a wrench to loosen the nut which secures said faucet while also removing copper lines attached on their valves at both ends of this faucet.

5. With the old faucet out, it is now time to install the new one by following the same steps in reverse order. Take extra caution when tightening the nuts and lines not to overtighten as this could lead to leaks over time.

Finally, turn on your water supplies and check for any drips or leaks from the newly installed faucet.
